X/Twitter and politics

It has long been known that X/Twitter is THE tool for politics and journalists, and whilst the platform still appears to be in freefall here in the UK The Guardian has an interesting article on why most haven’t dumped it yet despite the shenanigans going on there, with Elon even taunting Kier Starmer on his mouthpiece platform….
My take is that X/Twitter is rooted in politics and journalism – who appear inherently lazy, thus CBA’d to move elsewhere. However, this also appears to be changing with many choosing alternatives and even going back to old fashioned press releases!
