The EU has ordered both Apple and Google to cough up some large fines. Apple has to pay back £11 billion in taxes and Google has been fined £2 billion for market dominance abuse.

The EU is starting to make headway in its quest to stop large companies, and especially tech companies, to keep bending the rules. Next up in their crosshairs is Meta with a fair few ongoing battles seeming to come to a head this year.
