As the time come for Trump to retake his place as President of the US, many institutions are rolling back or axing their DEI (diversity) programs. This is basically as Trump is indicating how he will reverse many decisions taken by the incumbent administration. Social Media companies in the US (which is most of them) are literally rolling back the years in an effort to appease Trump as he readies to take office again. Think what you may, but it appears that social media has got to a stage where American owned companies are not interested in the rest of the world any longer and are just out to server themselves… if you disagree with these changes then it surely is the time to get out – but don’t pick threads or Bluesky as both are American owned! I have heard some loud whispers that Bluesky for example is looking to go down many of the same paths as the others when Trump comes back again….
