I have personal experience of this and I live in the UK. Meta is so bad at looking after users, with such large amounts of fraud happening, that in the US law enforcement has had enough. This also goes hand in hand with the huge fines Meta keeps getting for let’s be honest useless and terrible with users privacy, data and even being just a nice company.
